Following the inclusion of Archery in the Scout Adventurous Activity Permit Scheme, we have a new GLMW Archery Advisor and Assessor for the County. Simeon Keenan has agreed to take up this role for the County.

By the end of 2015, anyone leading an Archery activity with their Scout Groups or Units will need to obtain an Archery permit from their DC. This holds even for those of us that carry a National Governing Body Award for leading Archery sessions. 2015 is a transition period for these arrangements to be put in to place. For more information on the changes to the Archery rules for Scouting please take a look at the Scout Association Archery Page. As part of that process, you will need to meet with Simeon to complete the technical capability part of the permit application. Simeon can be contacted by e-mail at: . Please welcome Simeon to his new role for the County.
