Gone Home Bob Anderson

It is with great sadness Bob Anderson Vice President of 2nd Northolt (Woodend) Scout Group passed away on Wednesday 5th April. Bob had been involved with the Group for approaching 50 years, joining the Executive Committee when his two sons joined the Cub section. For many years Bob was show manager for the Wood End Show, Summer Fete and our Christmas Bazaar. His management of these fund raising events was exceptional and he raised significant funds for the Group over the years. He was awarded the Medal of Merit and the Silver Acorn for his services to scouting. Bob's sudden death has been a shock to us all.

Have you spent hours watching with pride as your Scouts face their fears on the high ropes, race down the twin zips or take the leap of faith and secretly wanted to have a go yourself?

Do you long to be Cub age again and crawl through the rabbit tunnels, try out crate stacking or challenge your friends in the archery range?

Would you like one day just for YOU where you can enjoy the adventure of Scouting and spend time with friends without counting children and collecting pe...rmission slips?

On 24th September, PACCAR exclusively invites ALL adult members of GLMW to REBOOT; a day packed with activities, workshops and drop-ins for you to meet new and old friends, share ideas and try them for yourself.

Places cost just £5 per person which includes all activities, workshops and lunch. To secure your place, please email karen@paccarscoutcamp.org
