GLMW Hillwalking Weekend

*  Breathtaking Views *  Fresh Air  *  Skills  *  Enjoyment  *  Social  *

The County hill walking group are planning their next trip to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales over the weekend of 23 to 25 September.  New to hill walking or looking to gain a permit, this trip is designed to cater for all.  The Dales offer a variety of walks from beautiful low level valleys to higher level walking and all in between.

The weekend will be friendly and social, and be run by experienced and qualified leaders, who can offer training to enable you to gain the skills required for the UK hills, used more locally, or towards a hill walking permit.  The weekend can also be used for testing your current skills enabling you to build experience of quality mountain days for your log book.

This trip is also ideal for those who may want a skills refresher, to learn something new, or just want to experience a nice or first weekend with good company in the hills.

Attendees from new leaders, young leaders (18+), and the more experienced are all very welcome!
