Supporting Young People to stay safe online

In this digital age where technology is moving faster than we can keep up, it can be difficult to support our young people as they use technology at a growing rate.

We would like to help leaders and parents of Young People in GLMW to learn more about supporting Young People in staying safe when using Technology.

To do this, we are going to run an evening workshop on Tuesday 13th June (7:30pm – 9:15pm). The venue will be confirmed shortly, but for now, please use the link below to register your interest and you will receive an email confirming location when booked.

At this interactive workshop you can;

-           Learn what the risks of technology, apps and websites are

-           Learn practical advice that can all use to help keep Young People safe

-           Share experiences and meet others with a similar mind-set

If you would like to take part in this workshop, please register your interest by clicking on the link below. If you can't make this workshop, but would like to arrange one for your group or section, then please do get in touch with Alison.Oakley@Googlemail.com

Please note this evening is aimed at adults not Young People. If you would like to find out how we can support Young People in your group or section, please visit our ThinkUKnow pages on the GLMW Website.
