County Scout Active Support Manager
This key aim of this role is to develop the existing Scout Active Support structure across the County. You will need to raise awareness and promote Scout Active Support Units both as a Membership option and to ensure that Groups and Districts benefit from their support. Also working with Districts you will facilitate the opening of new units particularly in the young adult sector.
County Safeguarding Awareness Co-ordinator
The purpose of this role is to ensure that all adults in Scouting across the County have access to Safeguarding Training to enhance their understanding of the Association’s Child Protection and Anti Bullying Policies. You will co-ordinate the dates and frequency of courses to meet the demand; there is already a team of registered NSPCC trainers who deliver this training and you would be expected to undertake this training also. While you need to be a member of the Association, this role may suit someone who is not uniformed.

County Safety Advisor
We want to appoint a volunteer County Safety Coordinator who will promote The Association’s Safety Policy within the County; and to advise the County Commissioner and Executive Committee on the implementation of the Association’s Safety Policy within the County and to assist District Commissioners in operating the policy.
